April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM), and this year CARDV is taking to social media to raise awareness for survivors of sexual violence.
Denim Day, observed in April, was created as a response to an ignorant sexual assault ruling, which stated that the victim’s “tight jeans” implied consent. Denim Day brings awareness to myths surrounding sexual assault and honors the survivors who have experienced this trauma. Join CARDV and wear your jeans in solidarity with survivors in our community!
