Agency Update - Spring 2016

3 March 2016 | 9:08 am

This year we added two new staff positions to our team.  We received a grant from the Oregon Community Foundation to hire a Development Director.  The role of this staff addition will be to expand our donor relationships and raise community awareness of CARDV’s services.  The second additional staff position is a Community Engagement Manager.  In partnership with Legal Aid Services of Oregon, this position will also focus on outreach to the community in an effort to raise awareness with Latinos, seniors, and rural communities; who experience different barriers to accessing CARDV’s services.  Increasing outreach to these communities will allow for more community members, and potentially survivors, to hear about CARDV.
CARDV continues to grow!

We are excited about these two new additions because they will enable us to better serve Linn and Benton counties.   Survivors of domestic and sexual violence are most often referred to us by a family member, friend, or community partner.  Please share CARDV with those you know to help raise awareness of our life saving-services.  Comments can be sent to Letetia Wilson or (541) 738-8319 x308.
